A crucial role of intimate relationships is emotion regulation.  In troubled relationships we feel anxious, insecure, invalidated and bored.  A loving interpersonal connection can make us feel secure, valued, joyful and excited.  Our loving partners can make us feel calm and experience these positive emotions.  They can help us develop self esteem and strengthen our identity. (See my blog on Emotion Focused Couples’ Therapy.)

The goal of your work with me is to restructure the emotional bond between you.  This involves changing interactional patterns and changing experience.  My job is to guide the process, to help you do that.

If you’re ready for a healthy relationship with yourself and your loved ones, contact Dr. Audrey Goldman TODAY and Recapture the Magic!
